The death of his master gave him the opportunity to create their own monster to the great scientist mad competition, but the female Beastie (expressed by Molly Shannon) building is a pussycat who prefers to sing in a raid. The animated comedy John Cusack provides the voice for the title character, a humble hunchback lab assistant who dreams of playing a mad scientist himself. The DVD has deleted footage and a behind the scenes Featurette, while Blu-ray also has an alternate opening and commentary with director Tony Leondis.
